1. At every meal, eat so much that you have to unzip your pants, even if you’re in a restaurant.
2. Buy candy bars in bulk.
3. Put on your jogging suit, pull your hair up in a ponytail, and go sit on the couch.
4. Fruit only belongs in a bowl on your counter, perferably in wax form.
5. Water should never be used to drink, its really only good for your toilet.
6. If your fast food burger doesn’t have at least 2 patties, 2 slices of cheese and 4 strips of bacon, then you’re a total wimp.
7. Don’t stop counting calories until you’ve reached 5,000.
Ok, ok…joke’s over! Hopefully now you don’t think I’m totally crazy. I was just having a little fun.
Were you actually looking for real weight loss tips? Cool, then check out the rest of my blog.
I can’t believe I’m sayin this, but I had so much fun on my walk today!
Me and my fiance try to walk about 3 hours per week. Its a little hard to do with our crazy schedules but today we decided to take a nice long walk.
We walked to a restaurant and I had a bowl of rice, chicken, lettuce, cheese, black beans, and salsa. Then we walked from there to the grocery store to pick up some fruit for this week. Then walked back home.
So in total, we walked about 70 minutes. And the weather was very pleasant – a bit cloudy and 65 degrees (We live in Phoenix, AZ)
All in all we both had such a nice time just walking and talking. Hmmm…I suppose exercise can be fun huh?
So today was Thanksgiving and I went a little crazy. Well, not as crazy as I used to get, but I did eat too much today. What’s new huh?
However, I know I’ve gotten a better handle on my eating because in years past, after a turkey dinner I’d basically need a wheelbarrow to carry me home – I couldn’t even fathom actually having to get off my butt and get home on my own accord because I was so stuffed. Can anyone say, stomach pump?
But that was the past.
Today wasn’t soooo bad. The only thing I really regret was not tracking my food today. It was pretty much a free-for-all. I feel bad because for the past 3 months I’ve tracked every single day.
Well I will definitely start back up again tomorrow with tracking – you have my word on that.
Ok, so here’s the damage…
whole wheat crackers with light cream cheese
caramel brownie
trail mix
beef jerky
sparkling cider
biscotti
cheese and crackers
ham
soda
sweet potatoes
cheesy broccoli
corn pudding
rolls with butter
pumpkin pie with whipped cream
Wow, that list does seem long!
I seem to have such a hard time controlling myself over the holidays – and I know I’m not alone.
But in the past, I’d blow it on the holiday, then I’d blow it for every single day after that for weeks. The voracious eating behavior would spill into the next day and the next.
I stuffed my face today, but so what? Its the holiday and its just 1 day.
Starting now I’m back on track and I’m not going to think twice about just how much I ate today. And that’s a promise to myself that I absolutely intend to keep.
